Michelle Le Beau, PhD, is the chief scientific officer of the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas. She is the Arthur and Marian Edelstein professor emerita of medicine, section of hematology/oncology; director emerita of the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center; and director emerita of the cancer cytogenetics laboratory at the University of Chicago. She is board-certified in clinical cytogenetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics. Dr. Le Beau is the past president of the Association of American Cancer Institutes, and a former member of the board of directors for the American Association for Cancer Research, the executive committee of the American Society of Hematology, the board of directors for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the National Cancer Policy Forum of the National Academy of Medicine. She is currently a member of the Board of Scientific Advisors of the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Le Beau has served on the P站视频 Board of Directors since 2019.
